Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

Pumkin is a product of Software For Humans, LLC, operated by Lewis LaBrie ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit pumkin.app, why, and the rights you have over it. Questions: hi@pumkin.app.

The short version

The Pumkin desktop app runs entirely on your machine. Your prompts, your models, your files, and your agent runs never reach us — there is no Pumkin cloud and no telemetry on your agent activity. Pumkin is free, so there's no purchase and no payment data. The only personal data we ever hold is what you send us directly, such as a support email.

What we collect

What we do NOT do

Where the software is distributed

Pumkin is downloaded from GitHub Releases. When you download it, GitHub processes your request under its own privacy terms; we don't receive your identity from those downloads.

Why we process it (legal bases)

We process support emails and keep that correspondence under our legitimate interests in supporting the software, and we process basic server logs under our legitimate interest in serving the site securely.

Who processes your data

Each operates under its own privacy terms. Some may process data outside your country; where that happens, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) apply.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hi@pumkin.app and we'll respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Pumkin is a developer tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
